What is Sovereign Tower?

You inherit a magical tower and a round table, and you spend the run deciding which eccentric, difficult people get to sit at it. Sovereign Tower is a story-rich round table management rpg by Wild Wits Games, published by Curve Games, released on 6 August 2026 for Windows and Linux at $19.99 USD. It reached 100,000 wishlists before launch and has held 93% positive across 2,953 Steam reviews against a critic score of 85.

The loop is small and the consequences are not. Each cycle you hear petitions, then send knights out on quests that test six stats — STR, AGI, CHA, MAG, WIT and LCK — against a requirement wheel you can only partly see. Knights die, refuse, fall in love and change into other people. When a run goes wrong you borrow the crypt demon's power to rewind it, and every rewind costs you one point of corruption that the ending will read back to you.

This site keeps the parts that are checkable: all 24 recruitable knights and how each one joins (the roster), which of the six meals each of them accepts (the meal table), who can be romanced, the five endings and the archetype that gates each, and all 75 achievements with their official unlock text. Where two sources disagree, both readings are printed with the date rather than merged.

Get Started in 5 Steps

  1. Spare the knight in the prologue. The one who tries to kill you is Oliver. Killing him closes his route for that save — see the roster for the caveat players hit here.
  2. Read the Damage Risk before the reward. The gold is not the interesting number. Risk is what wears your equipment, and repairs are worth timing to the next dangerous quest, not to a full bar. How quest cards work →
  3. Unlock meals from Arlin and use them every round. A preferred meal is +1.5 affinity and +0.5 quest score. The full meal table →
  4. Pick a sovereign style and commit to it. If no style passes 10 points, the Emperor only offers you war or destroying the tower. Which archetype unlocks which ending →
  5. Spend rewinds as scouting, not as undo. A failed timeline tells you a requirement wheel you could not see. Every rewind is one point of corruption, and 20 of them changes the epilogue.

FAQ

Is it Sovereign Tower or Soverign Tower?

Sovereign Tower — with the e before the i. "Soverign tower" is one of the fastest-rising searches for the game, so if you have been finding thin results, the spelling is likely why. Worth knowing too: Sovereign Tower is also the name of real buildings in London and in India, which is what most of the property listings in your results are.

How many knights are there in Sovereign Tower?

24 recruitable knights, confirmed two ways: the in-game meal table lists 24 by name, and a full recruit walkthrough covers the same 24. Four of them turn up on their own — Angelica, Goberto, Gwendan and Gideon. The rest need a specific decision, and some are mutually exclusive.

How do you dismiss or remove a knight in Sovereign Tower?

Dismissal happens through the Round Table itself, and it is not always available — players regularly report the option being unavailable. The usual reason is that the knight is currently away on a quest or part-way through a personal quest line. Wait for them to return before trying again. Be careful with it: a dismissed knight takes their quest line with them, and Gwendan is the only documented case who comes back after being sent away.
